Christian Stokes was born and raised in Athens, Texas. He attended and studied theatre at various Universities in Texas, including Trinity Valley College, Stephen F. Austin State University, and the KD Studio Actor's Conservatory of the Southwest, supported by well known Texas agent, Kim Dawson.

Christian began touring Asia and Europe for several years as a performer until relocating to Orlando Florida in 1997. While there, he worked for Universal Studios in the Wild, Wild, Wild West Show and was in the original cast for the show's opening in Universal Studios Japan in Osaka.

Upon returning to Florida, Christian began delving more frequently into film and tv. He landed a role in the independent feature Monster starring Charlize Theron, who went forward to win the Oscar for her performance in the film.

Christian moved to Hollywood in 2003, immediately gaining credits in episodics like Alias & Charmed. He appeared as one half of the homicidal duo from Lake Dead, a horror feature selected as an After Dark Films Presents: 8 Films To Do For 2007 honoree, now airing regularly on the Sci Fi Channel. He also was featured opposite Ryan Phillipe in Kimbery Pierce's Iraq war drama, Stop Loss.

Christian is currently Head of Entertainment for the Pirates Adventure show in Buena Park and continues to pursue his craft on the small and big screens as well as on stage. He also manages to find time to write and perform as lead singer for the Poison tribute band, STRIKT9.
